How to use the app
Download Rugby Matchmaker from the App Store or Google Play. Open the app and tap "Create account". Enter your email address and choose a password. Verify your email when prompted.
Enter your club name and location. This sets your base for distance matching. You'll be the club administrator — you can add other admins later from the Club Profile screen.
Add each team separately — 1st XV, 2nds, 3rds, Ladies 1sts, and so on. For each team set the gender, age group, and competitive level. This is what determines who you get matched with.
Tap "Find a match" on the dashboard. Select the team and the date you need a fixture. Set your preferred distance range. Tap the broadcast button — your request goes to every matching club instantly.
Interested clubs will appear in your Messages inbox. Tap any conversation to chat directly. Agree details, confirm the fixture, and it drops automatically into your Season Planner.
Once you've agreed a fixture with a club, confirm it in the app. This marks the fixture as confirmed for both clubs and closes out the other broadcast responses for that date automatically.
The Season Planner shows all your confirmed fixtures. It auto-scrolls to today's date. Tap any fixture to go straight to that conversation. Past dates are hidden by default but can be expanded.
Keep your club details current from the Club Profile screen. You can update your logo, contact details, and team information at any time. The Help link on this page is also in your Club Profile.
