We built Rugby Matchmaker for rugby people, not for data. We collect only what we need to run the service, we never sell your data, and we never will.
Rugby Matchmaker is a product of Sports Matchmaker Ltd ("we", "us", "our"). We operate the Rugby Matchmaker mobile application (available on iOS and Android) and the websites rugbymatchmaker.com and rugbymatchmaker.co.uk.
For the purposes of UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, Sports Matchmaker Ltd is the data controller for personal data collected through these services.

When you register, we collect your name, email address, and password (stored encrypted). You may optionally add a profile photo.
Club name, location (town/postcode), competitive level, age groups, and team names. This information is shared with other registered clubs to enable fixture matching.
How you use the app: screens visited, features used, fixture requests sent and received. This is used to improve the product and is not shared externally.
Messages sent between clubs within the app are stored on our servers to deliver the messaging service. We do not read your messages except where required to investigate a reported abuse of the platform.
Device type, operating system version, and app version. Used for technical support and crash reporting.
If you visit our website, we collect anonymised analytics data (page views, traffic sources) via Google Analytics. No personally identifiable information is collected through website analytics.
If you submit your email address via our website (including the blog gateway form), we store that email in HubSpot to send you updates and tips. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Your club name, location, competitive level, and team details are visible to other registered clubs for the purpose of fixture matching. Your personal name and email address are not shared.
We use the following third-party services to operate Rugby Matchmaker, each of whom processes data only as instructed by us:
We may disclose data to law enforcement or regulatory bodies where required by law or to protect the safety of users or third parties.
We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or financial compliance purposes.
Message data between clubs is retained for 12 months after the conversation ends, after which it is permanently deleted.
Marketing email data is retained until you unsubscribe, at which point it is suppressed from future sends. You may request full deletion by emailing us.

The Rugby Matchmaker app does not use cookies. It uses Firebase authentication tokens stored securely on your device.
Rugby Matchmaker is intended for use by adults acting as administrators of amateur rugby clubs. The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.
Where a club registers teams for junior age groups (mini rugby, colts, etc.), the account holder and data controller is the adult club administrator, not the players.
